Mayor Michael Nutter opens GNPCC Expo 2011

Business is Blooming for the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. The annual business expo took place at Holy Family University. Photographer Scott Gifford was capturing the images of the day. Mayor Michael Nutter was the Keynote speaker and was the honored guest to open the show.

Deaf student becomes a rabbi

Hi Scott,

I want to share with you the wonderful news that an ABC documentary production company discovered Darby Leigh’s graduation video on the web and, with our help, they’ve incorporated Darby into their documentary. Almost all of the graduation speech you shot is included!

It begins airing Dec 6-Feb6 on ABC affiliates across the country. Unfortunately, some affiliates do not pick it up, and some (like WPVI-6) show it at an odd hour – in Philly, 4:30 a.m. on Sunday 6/13. However, NYC, LA and some other major markets have good Sunday airtimes.
